Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about funding your studies abroad with Tiro Global Finance.
What does Tiro Global Finance do?
We help students fund their studies abroad. Your dedicated adviser explains your education-loan options, helps you choose the right lending partner, prepares your application with you and keeps you updated until your funding is in place.
How can Tiro Global Finance help me get an education loan?
We take the guesswork out of the process. We understand what lenders look for, help you present a complete and well-organised application, and guide you through every step - so you can focus on getting ready for your studies.
Do I need collateral?
Not always. Requirements depend on the lender, the loan amount and your profile, and options without collateral may be available. Tell us your preference in your profile and your adviser will show you what fits.
What is a co-applicant, and do I need one?
A co-applicant is usually a parent, guardian or relative who applies for the loan with you. Some loans need one and some don't - if you're unsure, just choose “not sure” and your adviser will explain.
What information do I need to get started?
Just the basics: your name, contact details and your study plans - destination, course, intake and an approximate budget. It takes about five minutes. Documents are only needed later, when you're ready to apply, and your adviser will tell you exactly what's required.
We'll never ask for passwords, OTPs or bank login details.
How long does the process take?
Your adviser will usually get in touch soon after you submit your profile. Timelines then depend on your intake date and the lender - starting early gives you the most options, so we recommend beginning as soon as you have your plans.
Will my information be shared?
Your information is used only to help you with your enquiry. We share your details with a lender only when you decide to go ahead with that lender. See our Privacy Notice for details.
How will I get updates?
On the channel you choose - email, phone, WhatsApp or SMS. You can also create an account to follow your progress online at any time.
What interest rates and loan amounts are available?
These depend on the lender and your profile, and lenders update them from time to time. Your adviser will share the current options that suit you. You can also see published figures on our Lending partners page.
Can I change my mind or update my details?
Of course. You can update your details, change how we contact you, or ask us to delete your data at any time - from your account or by contacting us.
